After looking at the Nvidia Tech Brief for the Geforce Go 7 series Tech Brief I noticed that in their nvidia settings they have one for SmartDimmer. I use a Voyager c720 from Evesham and it has a Geforce 7800 GTX Go. For some reason I dont have access to the Dimmer settings even though I know my notebooks flat panel display supports it as it dims and gets brighter as I turn main AC off and on. ATM I'm using driver verson 83.40 from laptopvideo2go drivers section. Any help with this would be great. mobilenvidia Posted February 24, 2006 Report Share Posted February 24, 2006 Add this to the mobile_tweaks section of the INF: ;Smart Dimmer ControlsHKR,, EnableBrightnessControl, %REG_DWORD%, 1 HKR,, PanelPWMFrequency, %REG_DWORD%, 200 HKR,, PanelBrightnessLimits, %REG_DWORD%, 0x0000FF32 Reinstall and Smartdimmer to your hearts content :) You will need to add it to the modded INF not original as there are other tweaks already enabled in the modded INF Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
