As per Perthos' suggestion (thank! ) I have opened a one-stop-shop for current problems dilemmas on the site. I foresee this as an ongoing thread for any situation on the site instead of posting separate topics on the matter.

Therefore here is the, off the top of my head, current list of things to do since the demise of the hard drive list:

To Do
-------
+ Upload missing drivers
+ Upload missing INFs
+ Fix modified INF link paths in rest of driver threads -- some are already modified.
+ Recover lost driver posts

Fixed
------
+ Attachments have been retrieved and should now work.
+ <!> Error: Missing file enhancer_performance.txt. Please report this issue. (thanks Icehawke)
+ Enhancer page javascript (thanks Guest_Chris)
+ Recovered lost members (1031 recovered, 47 duplicates either by email or name from re-registering after the crash)

Nice to see you took my suggestion  Always glad to help whenever I can. This site has gotten me through a lot of driver problems and I can't wait to see it back up and running in all its glory.

Much respect to everyone who helps out with this site, you all rock! :unworthy:

I'm quite busy at the moment (for the past week) and for a few more days. Rest assured I will cover these issues soon.

At the moment there is no 158.43. Pieter has been away for many weeks and will have many INFs to create. We will get back into the swing of things soon enough. :)

The modded .inf for the latest GF 7XXX Driver v94.24 XP 32bit |, 2007-04-19 is missing. (ERROR 404)

http://forums.laptop...showtopic=13263

Thanx for all the work you're doing here!

This site is just great..

I wish someone would make a tool like the Ati mobility modder(http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/) for NVIDIA. This would make the whole thing a lot easier.

For you and for us..

All the best..

Not to sound rude or nething, but I'd really appreciate it if you'd get busy uploading those missing drivers and infs. At least the more recent ones because I need one insanely badly now and haven't been able to get it. Please hurry :willy_nilly:

It would be nice if the registration even worked.
It fails with a database error every time - except when it tells me info needs to be filled out that is already populated.

You ask for way too much info just to register.

I assumed that it was because I wasn't registered that I was getting 404's.
Now I see that dead links are a way of life for this site.
Oh well....

I agree all the non-standard forum registration info should be optional, although I don't think it makes you enter stuff like the BIOS version and whatnot, but I still can't register. I'm pretty sure I used to have an account here but I can't log in with it, recover it, or recreate it (says e-mail address is in use when registering, but non-existent when recovering, go figure). When I try to register with an e-mail I haven't used here before and it looks like everything should be valid, I get a rather vague database error:

IPS Driver Error
There appears to be an error with the database.

If an admin could help me recover or recreate my account that would be great. My e-mail is blah238 (at) gmail (dot) com.

I just noticed the links suggested for the cPax utility report error. (Original those were uploaded by snOwl)

The discussion is this one. http://forums.laptop...?showtopic=7249

The failing links are these ones:
http://forums.laptop.......ost&id=1004
http://forums.laptop.......ost&id=1644

I will appreciate make those available. I had to reinstall the OS on my laptop after a HD crash. Thanks to ®®® compilation of the Toshiba drivers I'm up and running, I'm just missing this utility.

Cheers.

PS. Now the first link shows a picture that is the wrong attachment.

Think the people behind laptopvideo2go.com have gone on vacation for ever  I have a problem with newer drivers when using a normal TV with the s-video. It keeps forcing HDTV and tones down my laptop screen so I need to log out or restart in order to see anything. Stupid Nvidia....!!!
