tvccs
I recently acquired a DV9330CA HP laptop with Vista Ultimate 64 and a GeForce Go 7600. The HP Web site has a lot of incorrect drivers listed, but I thought I'd installed the latest available NVIDIA driver. The HP Update program attempted to load an older driver, but then stopped, stating the installed driver was 32-bit. What's the easiest way to tell whether an NVIDIA driver is 32 or 64-bit? Thank you. ®®®
For Vista x64 look for nvsvc64, nvoglv64 and nvapi64. Vista x86 doesn feature these files.
tvccs
Yeah...those files and a couple of other 64 tagged files are listed in the driver details. I've just never seen another driver throw an error message like the one HP Update attempted to install. Thanks.
