If i try to install in the Device Manager the Driver this happens..

The only driver i can install is that from Fujitsu Siemens. I follow this steps:

"Same drivers with English help and utility:

Go to Fujitsu US

Click on Support on the top navigation bar (red colored stripe).

On the "Support Overview" page, click on the "More Info" button next to "Notebook, Tablet, and Desktop Support".

On the "Support" page click on "Downloads".

On the Downloads Search section, searching "By Model" (default option), choose "Notebook PC" under "Select Product", "E Series" under "Select Series" and "E8010D" under "Select Model" and press the arrow button next to the "Go" text label.

On the results page shown, scroll down to find WLAN Atheros with V4.2.2.14 in the "Version" column."

That can i install with the client and the Wireless work. But not with this driver above.. Dont know why..

Can you have a look in the device properties and tell me the PCI_ID of your card

This ID is what the installer looks for, if not found in the list it won't install the driver (you can force an install)

I see what is going on here.

You are not replacing the original INF with modded one.

The original INF does NOT support your card.

The modded INF does support your card, can't tell what will happen as it does try to 11n settings it should just ignore this.

REPLACE the INF, ie overwrite it or delete then copy modded one, now come back with good news :)

Ok..

I download this driver:

http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....showtopic=15239

Take this modded inf:

http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....showtopic=15181

And its install.. :)

Know i have in the Device Manager a "Atheros AR5002G Wireless Network Adapter"

Is this right?

Alright this has to be explained properly for all those people googling like me!!!

I recently Installed Windows 7. Unlike the rest of my hardware, Windows refused to recognize my Atheros AR5212 card.

After checking the card out via SIW(Gabriel Topala). SIW told me that the vendor was Action Tec Electronics Inc.

So like any normal human I opened Firefox and went to the Action Tec website. And low and behold.

They did not support the damned card. I searched for the driver on google and nothing came up. (I should have tried Bing or Yahoo, hindsight)

Anyway. The solution is straightforward.

Download the original driver for an older model here: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=15239

Extract the folder out of the file.

And replace the original INF file with a modified INF file here: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=15181

Put that file inside the folder you extracted.

Then go to your device manager and manually update the Ethernet card, according to Windows.

It's gonna show up as an older model, but it will work.

FTR, yes I'm kinda blown and just decided to explain this process for some reason. IDK.
