Hi, does this driver fix TDR issues?
I have them anywhere between minutes and several hours while gaming.

Tried replacing GFX and tested ram for errors.
A new computer, came with vista.

8600M GT

Anyway, does this fix the TDR issues? Maybe used together with vista SP1 it does?

I'm having trouble keeping up with the recent stuff bad enough. 3 driver sets in 3 days... Nvidia must be working overtime.

Lots of driver releases corresponding with a new card release = bugs! But at least they are good looking bugs :alien_dance:

Hi all. Just tried out the new drivers with Fifa 08 on vista. I have the 8600m GT. Works better than the other drivers but still lagging. Finally got to play the game when set to let application decide in nvidia control panel and resolution was set to 800 X 600 in Fifa, which sucks as the graphics are really poor. Anyone else get to test yet... Other games like battlefield 2142 and World in conflict are great now.

Get same BSOD with these as with 16901.
I can install 163.67 without problems, but not this one.. Still doing the same thing, with removing old drivers, and using modded inf.
Get a stop-message on the BSOD, "nvlddmkm.sys."

Anyone?
I tried search, but not easy when some drivers work, and others dont want to... :(

Tnx for all help, if possible.

Toshiba x200, GT8700m, vista home premium.

regards,

Installed just fine on my Go 7950 GTX.

Got a pretty nice increase in my Crysis Demo framerate. Areas where I got 20 FPS before I now get ~24/25 FPS. Nice!

Hey!

This one seemed to reduce performance a bit comparing to the previous release. 3dmark 06 results below:

Posted Image

Edit:
TimeShift crashes with every options change and during game load.

To Roberto:
I said "a bit" not "quite a bit" and I mentioned because I was waiting for an improvement in performance.
I was waiting much more from my laptop conf than I am experiencing at the moment.
PeaceOut!

I wouldn't exactly call 2-points "quite a bit". You can easily get a two point drop running the same benchmark a second time useing the same driver. As long as a few bugs got fixed it's worth it.

great drivers,

had some issues with the driver hanging when OCed to much and Vista restored the drivers with underclocked Core/Mem so I had to restart to make the games playable again anyway here's what I got.

Using: Asus G1S; t7300 (2.0ghz); 2gb ram; 5400rpm hd; 8600GT 256DDR3 475/700@590/780

i've OCed it to 590/780 and recieved stable result with 4375 3DMk06 score at default 3DMk06 settings and resolution of 1280x1024, tried at 600/800 but driver crashed, no artifacts though.
temps were ~70c idle 86-95c during the tests, shame that Asus G1S gets pretty hot though it's still tolerable temp afaik

just wanted to confirm that these are still viable for overclocking, good luck and have fun :)

regards
Tomasz

Cannot recomend these. I lost 35-points in 3DMark06. Going back to 169.01. Oh well.
