when I install a different and a new driver besides the driver found on the support Packard Bell website some games ( like Fifa08... Unreal tournament I ) are moving very slow .... like the slow motion effect .... and other games worked just fine.
I got the latest driver from this website .... but in some games everything ( including the menu of the game ) is movin in slow motion... I've tried almost all the 16x versions and 15x versions....
The drivers provided by Packard Bell are very old... 101.34 ... besides 169.25.... and I don't have the digital vibrance function in that old driver.....
What should I do?
p.s. don't want the very old drivers back.... thanks.

I own a G1S as many have mentioned here...
I sent a mail to asus about the high temperatures (mine gets up to 93 without overclocking). A few hours after i recived a mail from them telling me to phone their tech support because i had a temperature problem.
I'd recomend registering your precious treasure on Asus site and ask them if those high temps are right so you can get it fixed

!! IT IS NORMAL !!
In the beginning, when i just had my G1S i also noticed the high temperatures of the GPU
I have send a mail to asus and they answered the same that they answered you...
The guys who are answering the mails don't know what to say
Everybody whit an G1S has such high temperatures and nobody has had problems with it (Like the laptop didn't crash, didn't burn to death LOL

I know of 7 people in my zone with a G1S and only 2 of them (one of those it's me) are getting those high temperatures, others usually dont go above 84-86º playing the same games. I rather send the thing to asus "just in case..."
And on a competitive company known worldwide it's not an option to put people without a clue to reply costumer's mails.
Well... this is way out of topic now so better stop the replies now...

Did you guys realize ... 90+ degree is near 100 degree... the point where it's going to start to set a on fire...
Wow. Just... wow. In the summer, lots of cities reach 100+ F weather. Do these cities spontaneously burst into flames? No. Even on the centigrade scale, 100 C is only enough to boil water. The burning point for paper is around 451 F, 233 C.

Just for informations, I'm not using those drivers since I have installed Xp on my G1S and the .21 works well for me.
My question is, for all the owner of G1S AK092C, does anyone of you have big problems with performance ? ALL the games (not WoW in Windowed mode 800*600) are getting really slow after 2 or 3 minutes. The performances start to behave strangly, like that :
/\ /\ /\
/ \ / \ / \
____/ \___/ \___/ \___
And when I get back to the desktop (ALT + TAB) CPU & Ram aren't that high (I even tried with Jade Empire : Special Edition, quite and old game), and when I get back within the game, everything works fine for some seconds and restart to behave like the previous "drawing".
I've already emailed the Asus Tech Support, ask me if I was using MAXIMUM settings for every games (even if I tried everything at LOW and by 800* 600), told them that I've ordered 4 Gb of RAM to change the actual ones.
Is there someone in the same case ? I'm getting mad about this s*** !
Thanks in advance

my way is set it back to defaults , not let it overclock , then dont enable driver-level hardware overclocking , after enable it again , it shall ask you to reboot the system , then ahould be fineDoes really nobody know how to redetect my settings in Rivatuner 2.06?
