Sorry I never responded. I have had a long hiatus from my forum scenes and I can't even remember my password here now. Yes I did get the roms and I got FTP access here so I will be able to update this whole thread on my own from now on.

Update list:
I am going to add a "locked" and "unlocked" version of the 7800 rom
I am going to add a "locked" version of the 6800 vanilla rom for those 6800 users trying to OC with newer drivers
Additionally, I am going to add a third version of every rom here that will let your card be unlocked no matter the driver. You may ask why I never put it up before and its because it has some problems with powermizer. I will either leave these problems be or get back into inf modding in drivers to try to solve it.
After this last update though, I will officially be done with both the 6 and 7 series nvidia cards and moving on to the 8 series (maybe some programming there).

Update: Complete

I have just added some 100% universally unlocked rom's to the list. They have the same naming conventions as the old roms in the first post except they have the extension Z. This means you can flash your card one time and never have to do it again (across driver installs or OS'es). I will get to updating the image links later. Anyway, I know this is old but if you still have one of these computers then try the new Z roms out and report your results. They should be unlocked no matter what driver you use and adhere to powermizer power saving features as well.

The code to do this on non-Dell roms should be coming soon.

One minor note: 680VANS is not the stock rom as the vanilla was "unlocked" by default. Its just what the stock rom would have been if it was "locked". However, I have provided the 680VANZ rom and thankfully I don't have to use quotes when I say its an universally unlocked rom.

Thanks man.

Edit: Iso image fixed to work on systems with more than 2 GB memory. I will test flashing inside of Windows next as that has been reported to not work.

So.. Just to be perfectly clear here :)

I have a Dell e1705 with a Go 7900GS board. It has a stock non-modded bios version of 05.71.22.16.13. Nibitor reports the board as G71M-U P469 sku2. That bios version seems to indicate I have a revision 0 card?

So am I correct in that I have a rev0 board. And am I also correct that I can flash this with the 790GTXZ.rom which will "turn it into" a GTX that unlocks all the pipelines and is also unlocked for timing/etc options?

Thanks much!

Yes and yes.

Unfortunately, I was informed of some problems with the unlocked ROM on the 185.68. Powermizer does not work and it is not unlocked. I dont think any 3 of the ROM's posted worked. I had to make a new one or something to make it work. I can't remember anymore what I did. Anyway, I'd just recommend people stick with 17x and older drivers now as I'm too busy to work on this anymore.
