i've bought this laptop recently because i liked the design, its design is similar like te 8920G but has some upgrades.

*** the facts ***

the system: ACER ASPIRE 8930G-944G64BN
processor: INTEL Core 2 Duo processor @2.53 Ghz (T9400)
graphiccard: Nvidia geforce 9700M GT 512MB (up to 1791 MB)
memory: 4 GB DDR3
screen: 18,4" full HD screen (1920x1080)
storage: 640 GB (2x 320)
optical: Blu-Ray reader / dvd burner
blutooth 2.0+EDR
WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/draft-n

*** findings ***

although the laptop is running fine it's still a lot of work to find the right tools to tweak this machine, sometimes it seems to run sluggish.
i guess it's because of the graphics drivers, but i've not tried to install any other drivers yet.

no test results yet. but with stock drivers not high.

whoo! i love this thing! i have precisely the same except the CPU (only P8600 2.4Ghz 6 mb cache) 8930G 864G64BN it rocks even in crysis ALL on HIGH 1280 x 800! well occasionaly it is sluggish but only on crysis . but dont play STALKER Clear Sky on all at max on it ! god ,what a stupid laggy and buggy game! dunno why
