I have to admit I'm curious to compare performance numbers between the Windows 8 Microsoft USB 3.0 drivers and the proprietary ones.

And honestly, it was about time Intel stopped refusing to put their own host controller out there, as many 3rd party ones tend to lack stability and/or performance.

Two small updates:

Intel Chipset drivers v9.3.0.1020 (see Post 95) and Intel USB 3.0 drivers v1.0.3.214 (see Post 97) have both been officially released by Intel.
I've updated the download links in these 2 posts accordingly.

(Previously these drivers were "inofficial", available for download only at station-drivers.com)

Update 3 for today: Intel Management Engine Software Version 8.0.2.1410 available (official release from Intel).
