Intel® WiFi Link 5300 CAN BE INSTALLED ON ACER 5520G?

i have an acer 5520g laptop and im wondering if the wireless can be replaced by an Intel® WiFi Link 5300

can it?

Most likely, it can. You just need to make sure that you get one that specifically says in the item description that it is not for HP/IBM/Lenovo laptops.

It can definitely be installed into an Acer 5720G - you just have to make sure to get a real retail card, and not an ES masking as retail (or something else altogether, labeled as an 5300). If you can, buy one from a U.S. or European seller, and beware of Chinese sellers. Not sure about the 5520G, though.

Also, do not get the Lenovo version.
