Can you please check the device ID of your integrated processor graphics (in Windows device manager)?

 

Maybe you have the same problem as the user here, your device may not be supported by these Haswell XP drivers (e.g. PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_041E is NOT supported by them).

 

Only the following devices are supported by these drivers:

"DriverPack Solution" modified the inf file, but still cause "code 10".

It seems that I have the same problem as the user you mentioned. 

My device id is "VEN_8086&DEV_041E ", not supported  -_-.

A new release of the Intel graphics drivers (10.18.10.3383) appeared on station-drivers.com.

Nice. :) These are generic drivers for all SNB and IVB systems. (No inf-Modding required).

I have downloaded the above mentioned driver version 15.28.21.3372. my laptop graphics is sandybridge. I installed this driver. installation was successful. two strange things happened.

1. it did not upgrade my installed vga version 15.?28.?20.?3347 (9.17.10.3347). Both (15.?28.?20.?3347 & 15.28.21.3372) were found to be installed. in the intel graphics properties page version was showing 9.17.10.3347. then I have to uninstall it and then version was showing 9.17.10.3372.

2. even installtion of this latest version 9.17.10.3372 on windows 8.1 my update still shows graphics driver update and it install the same old one 9.17.10.3347.

You can not always rely on Windows Update to provide latest drivers. Sometimes it also offers "older" drivers (depending on what Intel officially submitted to MS).

New drivers for Bay Trail processor graphics are available from Intel's download center.

I can't install this driver on my Haswell Windows 7 system - faulty digital signature.

Most likely it's only digitally signed for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (although the readme claims Windows 7 support). This also happened on some of the previous inofficial HSW / IVB graphics drivers.

I managed to install them on a Windows 8.1 IvyBridge based machine without trouble.

Unfortunately, I can't test any HSW / IVB drivers on Windows 7, because my Win 7 machine is SandyBridge based.

Yes it is, just tried it on Windows 8.1 and it works flawlessy there. So in contrary to the Readme Windows 7 is not supported. Annoying stuff for Windows 7, the driver itself is designed to work on Windows 7. The driver got some new additions: Media SDK API 1.8 support, some new OpenGL extensions, driver control panel AA Option: disable and application controlled.

I have downloaded the above mentioned driver version 15.28.21.3372. my laptop graphics is sandybridge. I installed this driver. installation was successful. two strange things happened.

1. it did not upgrade my installed vga version 15.?28.?20.?3347 (9.17.10.3347). Both (15.?28.?20.?3347 & 15.28.21.3372) were found to be installed. in the intel graphics properties page version was showing 9.17.10.3347. then I have to uninstall it and then version was showing 9.17.10.3372.

2. even installtion of this latest version 9.17.10.3372 on windows 8.1 my update still shows graphics driver update and it install the same old one 9.17.10.3347.

how are you installing the Intel HD graphics drivers, bodmas?  first of all, I'd remove any existing drivers first before installing the 3372 drivers.  I NEVER install a new driver over an old one thru device manager; I always use the Intel HD Graphics uninstaller from the Programs and Features control panel (since I'm using Windows 7 SP1) to remove the old drivers, reboot and then install the new ones by running the setup program for the new driver package.

 

as Andi said, you can't always rely on Windows Update to provide the latest drivers.  lately, Windows Update is offering the 9.17.10.3347 drivers dated 1/29/2014 for my sandy bridge Intel HD graphics hardware on the Dell Inspiron 620 desktop computer but I immediately "hide" this Optional update cause I don't need it & I'm fine with the 9.17.10.3372 drivers.  I also make sure that the Automatic Updates feature is disabled (completely turned off) so that Windows won't silently download and install the 3347 drivers from Windows Update.

Tested in all possible ways mentioned below:

1. tried to upgrade my 3347 but later found that both 3347 and 3372 were installed on my system and graphic properties was showing 3347 version.

2. then I uninstalled both and restarted my system and installed 3372 but widnows update showed latest vga need to be installed and when I installed it was 3347.

3. installed 3372 on newly formated with win 8.1 x64 and installed 3372 but the result was sam as in #2.

 

yes, andi is right. the new version 3372 was neither updated with intel official cite not at MS. intel site is still showing the latest one as 3347.

The beta driver 15.33.64.3464 does not work on my laptop with a Core i7 3720QM on Windows 7 x64 (no display at all). Is this also a Windows 8-only driver? I had to go back to 3414 to make things work again.
