Hibernate looks to be broken, coming out of it freezes laptop

Press power button to reboot

I've disabled Hibernate and sleep with lid open

Lid is set to sleep, but I find that LCD turns off but that is it

Laptop is often warm after leaving over night or at work

I've on seldom occasion seen my notebook turn on sometime overnight as well. I assumed it was windows updating. It also happens when I accidentally forget my partition backup plan is running and it won't sleep while that's going. I'll try to pay closer attention because I wouldn't want it to always be my own fault and I'm blaming Windows Update. :)

Check your wake timers in power options, sleep,  probably set for 'Important Wake timers only'

There's been multiple times I've begun to boot up and it stops at the first Windows logo, and does not continue, and I have to reboot, and then it loads up fine.

Desktop PC.
