I have yet to find anything better than 186.82 in terms of raw performance (on an ASUS G50Vt X2, 9800mGS).

yeah, for now the best one are 186.82 or dox 185.85 (i've got a Qosmio F50, 9600M GT 512)

i got less 200 points in 3dMark06 in this one than in 186.82 and 185.85 but i got test it in games and check temps.

When does it crash for you the game seems to run fine for me using these new 191 drivers.

How often does it crash and or when? During which parts of the game. As soon as you start it up or???

It most likely isn't windows 7 but the actual driver is the problem. If you try other drivers and also do a driver sweep before installing the new drivers I'm sure you will find one that will work for you.

I know that it goes on sale on the 22nd of October.

However i got my copy early. I was lucky.

It is 100% real and the full copy. Bill Gates donates funds to our school and I got this copy through our teaching program.

It is a copy that has gone into manufacturing and will be sold later, on the 22nd of October. I guarantee you that it is 100% real.

Sorry there is no DVD I downloaded it off MSDN.

The School of IT is a member of Microsoft’s Developer Network Academic Alliance which allows our students access to several of their applications and developer tools.

On an off topic note,

I see you too have the 8800M GTX graphics cards.

I was just wondering how you found their performance so fars? What games do you play or normally play?

I wanted to know if your fans come on and off a lot too?

My fans seem to come on every few mins and this repeats over and over agains forever.

Is this normal? Can i fix it or flash the GPU bios to a newer bios to fix things.

I wouldn't mind having the fans on forever as well at a lower rate too cool things when i am just idling or surfing and working on assignments. Then if I'm gaming the fans will automatically kick into higher rpm speeds if need be.

I personally tried the RC2 7201 version last times before i finally got this proper version.

Are you able to get a copy of it too?

It would be really cool if you could get it and use it too. 7 I must say is a lot better than vista.

Got it 19 months ago, but it still performs well enough for the time being.

I have a Clevo, so got an updated fan control bios, that stops it going on and off all the time and gives keyboard control of it also.

I did have the same problem as you at first. Not sure if Dell have solved it.

I have my Win7 on order from Amazon. Got in first for the discount price of £40.
