so... I installed these drivers (Had DOX 185.85 previously) and I gotta say, they're pretty much the same, EXCEPT:
  • I can finally enable Color Matching in Photoshop CS4 and it doesn't kill the performance like with 185.85
  • Win7 rating index works (it doesn't work with 185.85)

3DMark06 results:
185.85 DOX: 4451
187.66: 4475
185.85 DOX OC: 5323
187.66 OC: 5383

so pretty much the same.

I also wanted to report that the modded INF is not working for a GeForce 9600M GT (PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0649). The nv Control Panel doesn't install. I overcame this problem by manually editting the original INF.

"OC means that I have run the test with higher clocks, which are:"
Core clock: 500MHz -> 650MHz
Shader clock: 1250MHz -> 1625MHz
Memory clock: 400MHz -> 490MHz

Hi

Dark Skeleton Can you explain how to modify the inf to enable the control panel to work.

I have a GeForce 9400m G and the nvidia control panel does not work when I install this driver with the modified inf.

thanks

Sure, here ya go, I made this vid a while ago:

Just download the drivers package, open up the .inf file in any text editor and... edit the file lol.

I'm using TotalCMA Pack for editing if it concerns you.
