Just spotted these over at Fujitsu-Siemens.
Actually slightly older than 14.0.9.5 quite weird but these are here all the same.

64bit only though :(

these drivers enabled the middle click function on my touchpad

now I can press the left and right mouse button together to middle click! :)

There was a regiestry entry you could do to enable middle click on any synaptics driver.

Got to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Synaptics\SynTP\Defaults\ -- here create a new key as a DWORD and name it as 'HasBothButtonFeature' without the quotes and set the value to 1. Log off and Log on again and viola, u have middle click by pressing left and right buttons.

Or create a reg file and put this in it:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Defaults]

"HasBothButtonFeature"=dword:00000001
