Hello,

i use a Vaio AR61M with 8400M GT and Win7 Ultimate 64Bit.
As you know Sony doesn't support old Vaios. So there is no 64Bit Driver for the graphic card.
I took one from here, it works but when i try to use HDMI to watch the screen using my TV it doesn't work. The whole picture is green or red and the picture is crap.

Now my question: Which 64Bit Win7 Driver works perfectly with a Vaio with 8400M GT (using HDMI)?

Thanks!
Regards
Daniel

This could also mean inferior/too long cable (seen it to happen).

No, because under Vista everything works perfectly.

And if the signal should be bad there will be flashing pixels because of the TMDS Coding. A green or red picture will never appear when the distance is too long...

Got a mostly green pic with a cheap cable, 1080i worked OK but 1080p not.
