I've come across with 2 laptops
Lenovo Y550 - http://www.newegg.co....82E16834146613
Asus N61 - http://www.newegg.co....82E16834220613
It's really a tough choice, I mean processor-wise their bench mark doesnt have alot of difference, and i heard i7 runs really great
hard drive-wise, lenovo's Hard Drives runs at 5400rpm (doesnt say on specs) and Asus runs at 7200rpm, but i heard hard drive's rpm doesnt rly effect gaming or even in regular use. If anyone actually had an experience upgrading HD to faster rpm plz tell me if there was any noticeable effect.
Is it worth going with Q9000 for faster rpm for HD? or stick with 5400rpm and i7
also how's high end dual core compare to quad core?
Video Card - Same
Ram - Same
Another thing, Lenovo has only 2 usb port, and i heard using USB hub might cuz lag in keyboard and mouse response. not sure if its true in somecase (but not rly a concern while gaming will use keyboard + mouse only.)
That's pretty much it for specs (i think)
So which ones better? Gaming + performance wise, and if you happen to know a better one with similar price (budget of $1250) plz do recommend
