hm dunno what version it is i downloaded it from this main page here, but i know what's the issue,

if i use your string with 001 and 002

it doenst work, i tired and copied that to main nv_disp.inf

now with nvidia's strings from 197.45 driver, with 004 and 003 it detects it.. but i lose few fpswith this.. when i use your i can get 3 fps more in some cases.. in heaven Benchmark 2.0 to be precise ( 153.3 fps vs 156.3 fps >> max fps )

I've also got to allow in the modded INF to let it install other features for all GPU's if they are present (what the original INF does not)

But it should be all sorted now, and a big relief, as this is hard to diagnose with no actual DirectCompute support my self :)

I am trying to go from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Windows 7.

The 32 bit Vista was installed by mistake. My system can handle a 64 bit OS. Now I have finally found the time to upgrade. But the 64 bit intallation DVD cant be read from my OS. Any Advice?

Do I need to boot from that DVD drive? Will that work?
