Hello everybody. I'm new to this overclocking thing, so after reading some posts on this forum I decided to try to overclock my videocard a little. I use Win XP 32 bit, with 186.24 driver, and use nTune for OC. The problem that I have is that in the moment I try to modify my GPU clock, for a few moments nvidia monitor reads the overclocked values, but after this both GPU and memory values drop to some very low values(170/100). This happens every time when I modify the GPU clock, and it dissapears when I set the default values(475/400). I mention that I did not tried any aggressive values. If I modify only the memory value there is no problem. What shall I do(besides changing my OS :) )? Thank you.

I would recommend both updating to the latest drivers available and switching to RivaTuner for your O/C, since nTune doesn't work very well sometimes.

I already upgraded my driver to 197.16(the last official driver available from nvidia site), but I have the same problem. Also tried RivaTuner, and the problem persists. Any other suggestions? Thank you.
