Thanks Samozen,
It is worth noting that the driver sets on Microsoft are complete packages including files needed for Hybrid Graphics among other things. Very useful for modders like myself.

I see a nvlddmkm_u.sys and a standard nvlddmkm.sys file in this package. Haven't really seen that before.

Correcto-Mundo ricktendo, this IS the first of the 256 family of drivers that has been available via MS Update. I picked this driver up, two weeks ago, and installed it on my Firebird 802 (with dual GeForce 9800 S in SLI) and my HP DV 9500t CTO notebook (with Geforce 8600M GS). I got great results on the FB 802, but not so good on the notebook. If you are running SLI, then this is the driver for you. CP tab has settings where you can set PhysX to one of your GPUs or to your CPU. It's a really nice feature.
HP Firebird 802 VooDoo DNA
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.67GHz
DUAL GeForce 9800s (512MB DDR3 each)
4GB DDR2 800MHz Kingston Hyper-X RAM

I downloaded 257.21 and tried installing on my laptop (Intel core 2 duo with Nvidia 9600M GT) but it will not install. error message about not able to install Nvidia Control Panel and then it reverts back to curent driver. Tried many times, uninstalled current driver, etc., will NOT install. Any ideas???
