Doraemon
Hi, I have a Compal FT02 branded as Ahtec XHT02 (motherboard chipset Intel 965). I have 2x2GB DDR2 800MHz and would like to know if it's possible to use 2x4GB instead. Thanks! :)
Bill
For the 965 chipsets it is probably about 6 GB supported. You can probably run the laptop with 8 GB but you most likely won't be able to use more than about 6.2 GB RAM probably. If you want lots of RAM get a Sandy Bridge laptop and hook it up with lots of DDR3. It is probably cheaper.

Hi Bill! :) I really appreciate your input! :P I'm not considering changing my laptop right now but will probably try a 4GB SODIMM to see what happens. Thanks a lot mate! :)
