[UPDATE]
It appears as though non switchable graphics users needs to sign driver files after install as well.
Please follow the Ati Driver Install Guide as well!

1. Changes since Cat 11.11
Modded drivers based on catalyst 11.12. See ATI's release notes for Catalyst 11.2 HERE

I have also made changes of my own to the Dox Modded Mobility Catalyst (DMMC) release:

- fixed typos in the installer front end
- added new page in installer front end for Switchable Graphics users (install guide)
- changed level of driver compression and decompression (less memory usage required to extract files)
- Support Switchable graphics with INTEL HD
- Packaged switchable graphice with the NEWEST intel drivers
- Fixed potential issue with intel driver not loading
- Refined driver tweaks (got rid of conflicting settings and enabled Temporal AA as an option)

Please see known issues with this release further below!

2. Whats Modified from Stock Drivers?
These drivers have been modified for higher performance with negligiable lost to image quality.
In addition to this it supports older ATI gpus and unlocks hidden settings in the control panel.
The drivers have also been hacked to support Switchable Graphics Technology. The switchable graphics require the correct modified driver + intel driver combination to work.

If you have ATI Single/Crossfire download link 1
If you have Switchable ATI + Intel Express 4 series download link 2.
If you have Switchable ATI + Intel HD download link 3

3. Installing Switchable Graphics
Before installing the Switchable Graphics please view the Switchable Graphics Install Guide

4. Known Issue with Switchable Graphics
Booting into windows on battery power will enable intel GPU by default and turn off ati graphics. If you turn off windows in this state the next time you boot into windows you will boot into a black screen. If you boot into black screen you need to hard reset and boot into safemode and enable ATI gpu in the device manager.

Workaround: Before turning off windows switch graphics to ATI gpu then log off.

Dox, can you mod the catalyst driver to work correctly on Windows Server 2008 R2?

ATI installer and control panel somehow detect that driver is installed on windows server 2008 R2 (windows 7 base) and control panel will simply give a error message that no compatible driver is installed.

Anyone has any benchmarks between dox's and the oem ones ? Thanks

BTW Dox - Big Thumbs up for doing this . I was once an avid user of your modified nvidia drivers with my old 8400gs gpu , and now I cant wait to test these out with my 5650ati :)

Hi. I have recieved on christmas my new notebook Lenovo edge E320 with AMD switchable graphics (HD3000 - 6630M). Finally I found some thread with modified drivers. BUT is here any chance of solving that bug with black screen? Anyway very nice work, will try your drivers later

No I can only provide a work around. You can either disabke the feature of auto switching to intel gpu on battery or switch to ati gpu before restarting or if you forgot to do this remember to boot into safe mode and envale ati gpu. Remember that these new drivers do not support switchable graphics so hacking them to is always going to cause problems!

Hello,

First I'd like to thank you for sharing your work with us. I tryed your tutorial and I think it "kind" of worked. I'm able to see in the device manager that I have an "AMD Radeon HD 6400M Series" display adapter, wich I couldn't see with standard AMS driver. But I'm still not able to start catalyst control center. Is it normal ? Is there any way to change display option without the center ?

Thank you,

Anthony
