Recently the graphics card in my z81sp would not show up in the device list (stuck with vgasave) after troubleshooting and reformat without luck I believe the card itself may be bad. I asked years ago about upgrade options, anyone around that still knows what they were or where I might get them? Another 6800 would be fine, but if the 7600 fit (8600? *drool*) that would be great. checked out mxm-upgrade.com store but it seems they only have much newer expensive cards. At this point I just want it back to similiar functionality for a cheap as possible, have more concerns for running cooler rather than faster the 6800 ran the games I wanted it to perfectly. I have a budget of around $50-$70 to bring this thing back. If anyone has one for sale or might have thoughts about some I found I ebay that would help a lot.

http://www.ebay.com/...=item3a5e1e06be this card looks like its the same size and configuration as my 6800

http://www.ebay.com/...=item3a5c51ce41 though pricy this seems like it may fit too but no clue if it would actaully be compatible.

http://www.ebay.com/...=item4167069081 this type 2 has the right price and without the metal shield looks like it would fit but HP seems to usually have proprietary vbios

more type IIs fit wouldn't be issue but compatibility???

I remember Go7900 GS as an option to replace Go6800 in FS 3438/4438 / AW 5700. But it was a hotgoing bugger giving a lot of problems so f. ex . MXM-upgrade stopped to offer them. Can't say for the GTX but the price isn't high to try.
