This isn't working on Windows 8(x64). I have an 8600m gt and the install fails when I try.

It works, but the installer doesn't clean itself up after installation... i still found 500MB of installation files in the c:\program files\nvidia folder. at least it works though :D

Installs fine, But unable to access control panel afterwards, says display isn't connected to an nvidia gpu. Games don't recognize the card either. Using nvidia optimus. Hoping you can fix it :) the last modded drivers worked like a dream

Those who get a "failed" message during install... Here's the fix:
  • Open up the Charms bar.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on Change PC settings.
  • Click on General.
  • Under Advanced startup, click Restart now.
  • When the blue screen shows up, click on Troubleshoot.
  • Click on Advanced options.
  • Click on Startup Settings.
  • Click on Restart.
  • Your system now reboots and when the blue screen shows up, press F7 on your keyboard.
  • Windows boots up and then you can install the drivers with the modified INF.
