GeForce 9600M GT 1GB DDR2 MXM II

Hi to all,


I just upgraded my Aspire 7720G Windows 7 64 Bit wiht a new Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT 1GB DDR2 MXM II .
Nvidia web site does not recognise this card .


Please can someone help me to find a link or a solution :please:

So what's your problem? Can't install a driver? Have you tried using a modified inf?

Hi quipster and thanks for your help ,

Well I try have 5 or 6 differents modified inf but the card seems to take it for a minutes then the laptop reboot it self .

I don't thinks I yet the right file but is 1000's can you help me please to find the good one .

Not a good sign. Do you get a BSOD? Driver crashing during installation could be an indication for a faulty card.

Try installing the driver after booting into safe mode, and then report back.

Hi There,

 

i did the same to my Acer 7720 and got the EXACTLY same error. I even flashed the vbios. Now i getting an error while installing some of your drivers. The nvidia Installer show an Error on the driverspace. all ohter just not installed.

 

 - even small tricks or something...

 


Any clues what i can do now? i´m past that point to giving up... ;)
