®®®
:: UPDATES 16-DEZ-2004: v67.22: added WHQL certificate for most desktop GPUs and international files to our archive as NVIDIA released a new version of this driver 13-DEC-2004: added v67.22 :: DETAILS v67.20 desktop quadro driver for 2K.XP filedate 13-OCT-2004, released 13-DEC-2004 MultiLanguage, Setup is included with WHQL certification officially released by nVIDIA as certified Quadro driver v67.22 desktop / quadro driver for 2K.XP filedate 15-NOV-2004, released 17-NOV-2004 MultiLanguage, Setup is included with WHQL certification officially released by nVIDIA as certified Quadro driver :: OPEN ISSUES NOTE: This driver is certified for Autodesk Inventor 10 only and not intended to be a general use driver update. If you are not using Autodesk Inventor 10, Dell recommends using the appropriate general-use driver. Below are some system behaviors found in this driver that are different from previous M50 driver behavior:- TV-out signal is black-and-white when using composite (RCA) cable- Graphics corruption on notebook LCD when accessing NVidia control panel- Error while resuming when external display removed while system is in Standby/Hibernate- Changing video mode while DVD is playing results in loss of overlay- Driver reverts to clone mode after lid close standby event while docked Win2K only:- AVI does not display full-screen after full-screen DOS switch- Overlay only displays on second monitor if Media Player is already open :: ISSUES RESOLVED :: OPINION [*by LSudlow] This is a good, speedy, interim driver release intended for Quadro cards, though it works fine with all nVidia cards. It's about a month older than the superb 67.02 release and doesn't contain the new LOD performance option. If you're trying out various recent drivers to solve a problem, there's no reason not to try this one as well. But if you're currently using either the official 66.93 or the new 67.02, you're probably better off with what you have. :: BENCHMARKS [*by LSudlow] driver performance comparison charts for some GPUs for GF2 Go: HERE from Pieter (v16.20 - v61.77) for FX Go5200: HERE from Larry (v5x.xx - current) for FX Go5700: HERE from Sky-Dexter (v65.73 - current) :: DOWNLOAD & This and all other drivers available at LaptopVideo2Go are 7-zipped and come as a self-extracting archive for your convenience. Bill
This seems to be a good driver, doesn't have the strange graphics bugs in UT2004 like with 67.02 (see my post in that thread) It also fixes some bugs that other 67s have for me, but still not all of them.... And at the same time it caused more bugs... I wish nvidia could get this stuff right and release a driver that had all of the graphics bugs fixed even if it was a little slower... mobilenvidia
nVidia must have blundered and put the wrong version up. As I just checked it and they now have a WHQL for most desktop GPU version with international files added. I have uploaded this version, as it's a much more conventional INF. I have also modded a new setup of INFs to go with this. Dontknow, file size has changed and also the new INF links. Busy busy 3 drivers today will it ever slow up ?? mobileQMaze
Forgive me Members but where do I place a new INF file if I am installing new graphic drivers? Thank you
Jeroen
You have to extract the driver and then you have to copy the inf you want in the map where you extracted those setup files. (overwrite when asked)
mobileQMaze
Thank you very much. I was able to update my video driver properly. Now going to see if Half-Life2 works. Cheers :)
