Best scores are in RED

NOTE: I use a home-grown inf (especially modded & tweaked for DELL's Inspiron 5150/5160), which can be found HERE.
Pieter's version may perform quite differently.

Yes, thanks. Very interesting. I take it that more current drivers don't have any appreciable difference, but hopefully someone will update the data later.

Actually, more recent drivers are slower and don't work with our version of PowerMizer. The 6x driver series is the best combination of performance and compatibility for the Go5200 unless you need a bugfix that's only available in one of the newer drivers.

Larry, any chance/time to add results of recent drivers (only a few selected ones)? :)

I can try, but time is pretty limited right now. Are there any particular versions you'd like to see?

Not really, but it might be interesting to see 84.63 and 85.98
I thought you have tried out a few more drivers in the meantime...
Nothing to rush for. Take your time.

Hello all there , I want to pickup Vista Premium Tom. I ran the upgrade advisor and it said that the only problem would be is the video card because it doesnt support aero , downloaded the nv_LH file from Larry I have that on my usb drive that way once i install vista ill have the file will it work then or not? If not should I just got with Vista basic then? If it will work then all I have to do is follow the steps in the forum to make it work?

Below is what the advisor had once the test was done

Your current video card will not support the Windows Aero™ user experience. Contact your computer manufacturer or retailer to see if an upgrade is available. Click here for a list of video cards that support Windows Aero.

Aero Glass will not work with the Go5200 due to having less than 128MB RAM. It worked in some of the beta versions, which is when I created that inf, but since the release version of Vista no longer allows Aero Glass, I've pulled it.

You can still run Aero with any of the Vista or XP drivers. You just won't have the transparency effects.

I've heard things about 80.40 performing just as good with 67.66 (which I still use) in image quality but better in performance.

I've recently upgraded my M200 Tablet PC so it has 1.25GB of RAM instead of the usuall 512MB. I've read many things about 67.66 utilizing the GeForceGo 5200's chip to it's fullest (without relying so much on RAM), but I'd just like to know how 80.40 fares in comparison.
