The subject problem with Infrared Data Association file transfers are usually the result of buffer under run conditions that are caused by too much latency in the C3 power state transition.

You should ask your hardware vendor for a BIOS update that is designed to reduce C3 power state transition latency.

Or alternatively merge the attached .REG file (as also used by ASUS).

Obviously you should use the latest IR Port drivers, too.
