Latest generic drivers for Atheros Chipset based wireless cards.

Atheros Drivers v4.2.0.82 - dated August 30, 2005

  • Regulatory Enhancements (802.11j, US 4.9GHz public safety)

  • No reboot required for software install when there’s no GINA
  • Support for Regulatory Enhancements (802.11j, US 4.9GHz public safety)
  • Secure Session Resume
  • Locked Profiles

Note: Installation program disables the Welcome screen and Fast User Switching, and changes CTRL-ALT-DELETE behaviour. To restore those functions, run "regedit" and navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, and delete the entry "GinaDLL".

Thanks!. Spent hours looking for these on the internet. Finally solved my Sharp MP30 (Sharp Actius MP30) Atheros wifi problem with WinXP SP3 and using WPA2 personal encryption.

I installed the full client utility. Not sure if it would work if you just installed the drivers.
