djpharoah
Hi Guys. Im looking at the Dell D620 and the D820. Both seem to have nvidia quadro cards. my question is are these cards supported by the nvidia geforce drivers for linux??
Bill
These should work. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=9378 Only linux 8x.xx drivers I see.... (unless you need 64bit) http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=67556 Aparrently they support all of the cards except the NVS 120M. Wouldn't a precision be better though? Anyway if a particular card doesn't work in linux we can probably still mod it somehow, most of us aren't linux experts here though. Also linux support on nvidia drivers is pretty scarce right now. Anyway I'll step aside so the linux gurus can help you with this one.

This is a little late, but I'm running Ubuntu on a D820 (with a nVidia NVS 120) right now.

Fabrice Roux
Are you aware that you are talking to someone that probably left the forum months and months ago?
