This driver features a bunch of new Help files for the new Control Panel:
  • nvmob.chm
  • nvdsp.chm
  • nvcpl.chm
  • nv3d.chm
Of course each in their own language which makes it a package of 79 new files weighting 9MB. This means NVLiTE needs to be updated to get rid of these. Currently is does not support these new files.

More new files for the new Control Panel in this driver include:
  • nvmobls.dll
  • nvmoblsr.dll
  • nvvitvs.dll
  • nvvitvsr.dll
  • nvhotkey
Original ACER INF only supports:
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D6.1% = nv4_HBL50, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D6&SUBSYS_00901025
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.1% = nv4_HBL50, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D7&SUBSYS_00901025
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D8.1% = nv4_HBL50, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D8&SUBSYS_00901025
  • %NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0398.1% = nv4_HBL50, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0398&SUBSYS_00901025
Original ASUS INF only supports:
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.1% = nv4_A6VM, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D7&SUBSYS_12121043
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.2% = nv4_A6KM, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D7&SUBSYS_11011043
  • %NVIDIA_G72.DEV_01D7.3% = nv4_A6TC, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_01D7&SUBSYS_13A21043

Yeah, I have heard a lot of people complain about a bsod with this driver. I tried it anyways and they work great for me. I can almost play tomb raider legend in the next gen mode without a hitch now, so I am happy. :) Also heard good things about the new 87.08, hope to see these soon. Thanks for the great work!

Yeah, these drivers are definitely faulty. I got another BSOD with a stop error in regards to the NV4_Mini.sys. I wonder what is going on.

Later,

Alex

I tried these out and they definitly have a few problems but the nv4_mini.sys error come up for me as well. I get crashes while trying to get Direct3D going. OpenGL works fine however. Well... I'll say stick to the 84.56 drivers for now UNTIL a better quality release drops out. I tend to stay with drivers leaked from OEMs rather than driver distribution sites like driver-station.com and driverguide.com

Wow these files have the Sedona Property Sheet files as well? Nvidia must be getting ready to possibly release it soon. Thats what the nvvitvsr and nvvitvs files are.

Drivers work fine for me, but i dont get a display on my 3007wfp. Anyone know why the newer nvidia drivers dont work with Dell's 3007WFP in 1280X780 since 84.43?
