Sony VAIO VGC-LT15E video driver needed
Posted 2 Nov 2009
I have been trying every day for a week to get my GPU to work after upgrading my Sony VAIO VGC-LT15E to Windows 7. I can see the screen but there are many vertical lines all over it and when I look, it says Windows has disabled my graphics card. Sony responded saying that they "will not provide a driver for Windows 7 because they designed the computer to be used with VISTA". I've tried methods listed on this site as well as 2 others to install a 3rd party driver but so far I have had zero success. Everything else on the computer works fine, just the video is messed up.
It's weird because the graphics worked fine the first day after upgrading. Everything looked real sharp and I was very happy with the upgrade. It quit working the following day.
