    Latest Realtek Audio Codecs

I have a Q405UA-BI5T7 which I got from BB I upgraded all the drivers from Ivan's site I'm using the FF00 8703 and the ICE app still appears to work? What the heck? Is it driver based or not. Update: Maybe some of the options work, I know widener works and loudness, I will try installing another version later and testing things more
  5. Cheers for that, quite a handy app for sorting quite a few things But alas it didn't fix my issue There was an update 18632.xxx that came out but was not out long enough for my system to grab it This had the update to 20H1 fix in it, now it wants to update to 18890 but fails I'll do a fresh install someday, I normally do one twice a year

I didn't really need to contact them. upon further review, it seems only the 8683 FF00 & FF01 versions have the "APO debug" entries in the INF files like HDARt.inf & HDXRT.inf and other INF files. The HDART.inf & HDXRT.inf files from higher 8683 FFxx versions like FF03, FF04, etc. do not have the APO Debug entries.

    Latest Realtek Audio Codecs

I recently found something really strange with the 8683 WHQL FFxx HDA drivers. It seems the HDXRT.inf and the other INF files included in 8683 WHQL HDA have added the following entries: [APODebug.AddReg] HKLM,%APO_DEBUG_REG%,SecureAudioEngineProcess,0x00010001,0x00000000 HKLM,%APO_DEBUG_REG%,DisableProtectedAudioDG,0x00010001,0x00000001 Normally these "APO Debug" registry entries are found in the INF files in the beta/non-whql based Realtek HDA drivers but it seems Realtek forgot to remove them in 8683 WHQL. However, Realtek fixed that little mistake and removed the APO Debug entries in the 8688 WHQL and later HDA FFxx drivers.
  23. Improved performance of the Vulkan title, DiRT4. Added support for presentation from queue families which only expose VK_QUEUE_COMPUTE_BIT. This improves performance of Steam Play title, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Fixed a bug that could cause the display to be driven at a low resolution when configuring PRIME display offloading with `nvidia-xconfig --prime`. Added HEVC YUV 4:4:4 decode support to the NVIDIA VDPAU driver. Added the new per-decoder profile capability bit VDP_DECODER_PROFILE_SUPPORTED_CHROMA_TYPES to the NVIDIA VDPAU driver. Added new VdpYCbCrFormats VDP_YCBCR_FORMAT_Y_UV_444 and VDP_YCBCR_FORMAT_Y_U_V_444 for accessing YUV 4:4:4 surfaces via VdpVideoSurfaceGetBitsYCbCr() and VdpVideoSurfacePutBitsYCbCr() in the NVIDIA VDPAU driver. Added support for creation of YUV 4:4:4 video surfaces in the NVIDIA VDPAU driver. Raised the minimum supported X.Org xserver version to 1.7 (video driver ABI version 6). Updated the NVIDIA VDPAU driver to support allocating VDPAU video surfaces with explicit field or frame picture structure. Added support for the GL_NV_vdpau_interop2 OpenGL extension, which allows VDPAU/OpenGL surface sharing with explicit field or frame picture structure. Picture structure selection by applications can avoid the need for implicit surface structure conversion by the OpenGL implementation. Updated nvidia-installer to avoid problems with commands whose proper functionality may be dependent on system localization (e.g. via the LANG environment variable.) For example, some kernel configurations may produce unusable kernel modules if LANG is set to a language other than English. http://de.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/430.14/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-430.14.run http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/FreeBSD-x86_64/430.14/NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86_64-430.14.tar.gz http://fr.download.nvidia.com/solaris/430.14/NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-430.14.run
