Computer Potato
Second best score I have gotten with 3DMark05. Control Panel is normal but like the 83.02 drivers, I can not get the 'Enable Taskbar Icon' to work No OCing using default 250/600 3DMark05 Score (I tried 3DMark06 but too hard to tell the difference between drivers and twice file size so uninstalled it) 82.12 - 3045 83.02 - 3058 83.20 - 3053

psk
Hi, Excuse me if my english isn't good. I've installed this drivers in a Ahtec Laptop (I don't know his real manufacturer) with MXM technology and GFgo 6600 256MB. With some modification I got install it correctly, but in PowerMizer Option, when I use battery I can only select Maximum duration or medium, but I can't select max performance. Is problem of my card/system configuration or this drivers only includes these two options for battery mode (in AC mode I can select 3 options)? If is problem of drivers, what version is better for you? Regards, PSK
mobilenvidia
PSK, that means that your coumputer would draw too much power for the battery to handle safely. The battery heats up with big power drawws, this can be a hazard and also shortens the battery life. It's a safety feature, nothing you can do, all go6800+ do it as well. It's a draw back for such a powerful GPU in a laptop.

Finally I tried 83.02 version and already appeared three options for battery mode. I will keep in mind the risk.

When I modified .INF file, I used GF6800 configuration instead 6600. Then, Can I use full power in battery mode without risk? (is a 6600 card really) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strange: How after many versions installed my system was unstable, I reinstalled the system. In a clean system, I have done this: - Installed 83.20 with modified .INF avaliable in this topic: PowerMizer appear, but only can select 2 mode (can't select max.performance). Is strange because in previous system when I installed this combination I got all functions availables. Continue - Installed 83.02 with his own .INF (also modified by laptopvideo2go, I think) downloaded from this forum: PowerMizer appear with all his possibles options, but some options availables with modified .INF of 83.20 dissapear (for example clock setting and some advances functions) - Installed (for second time) 83.20 with modified .INF available in this topic: PowerMizer appear with all his posibles options and all options setting are other time availables. What happen? I want can install all functions with a only drivers without need install different version overwritting before for get all options. Can you help me? My card: Geforce Go 6600 MXM Manufacturater: http://www.uniwill.com/ Laptop model: 259EN3 (Ahtec Signal 259M MXM in my country) //Merged Guest is me, psk. Sorry!
