kgcampbell
thanks but i cant download the inf It's not there, that's all there is to it. I am using 84.74 with good results, but as I am running an HP Pavilion with a Go 7400, it would be nice to give this a try. The most recent driver on HP's update site is 84.54, and although that driver is here as well, there never has been an INF for it - is there a problem making HP drivers work? Anybody know? Regards, KGC
mobilenvidia
INF was there, but the INF has a new name I've not come accross before. Also I don't always make INF for every driver as there might be a newer driver out already. And if you own a laptop that the original INF already supports even more reason not to make onw. But I can make INF on request if need be. :)

I found the uselfulness of the package better as provided here - more options available than in what is provided by HP - which is why I would choose a release here even if the same release is provided by HP. I can not get the 84.98 to install - even with the original INF, as it turns out. There must be some weird Compaq specificity going on. Anyhow, I am happy with Alienware's 84.74 release - it's really stable on my machine. Cheers, KGC
