Guest Ender15 Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 Yeah, I got an acer aspire 5920g, with an nvidia 8600m GT, and I have the same problem as everyone else, none of these drivers work. Even with a modded .inf, for some reason it tosses a no hardware supported error. Acer only gave us generic VGA drivers with really basic DX10 support, and unfortunately we need post v158 forceware to run any dx10 games at all. So if anyone out there knows how to make modified drivers and has an Acer Aspire 5920g, a lot of people would really appreciate ANY drivers. Thanks. I need to have a look at this to see what is happening. It may be a case of 2 different 8600M's as was the case with the go6600 (2 different versions) I'll be able to tell with the INF. You guys are definitely REPLACING the original INF with the modded one ?, replace/verwrite, even delete/move the old one before replacing with modded. This is SO vital, for success.
