You're doing great work, this page was a big relief to me. Though I'd might have to stick with official OEM releases from HP. Alas, your modded INF won't work with the Geforce Go 6150 inside my HP TX1250EO.

Tried remodding your INF, NVIDIA's own INF to get it working, but to no avail. I'm getting misc errors when installing the driver manually, depending on which changes I make. One about Windows not finding a specified file (during the manual driver install), others about the driver not being Vista compatible. I'm attaching the INF from the older, current working HP drivers, hope you can figure something out. It would really make my day :) .

Hello, I'm using an 8600M GT PLEASE tell me that standby is working correctly.

I have tried so much driver but my system always crashs if I activate it after standby.

Please help me!!!

Now, I've tried modding the original NVIDIA drivers, but again to no avail. In their right sections, this is what I've added:

This only results in the same error as when trying to install the drivers by your modded inf. Screenshot attached.

My card goes as "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0244&SUBSYS_30BF103C", btw.

Ehm... Now I'm feeling like an utter arse. Managed to get it working. Well, sort of, that is...

I was trying to use your modded inf with the generic drivers I downloaded from NVIDIA. Didn't care to check your archived driver, as download was so slow, but when all logic solutions failed I was compelled to try them. Your INF only works for the multilanguage drivers, while I tried it on the english-only distribution :) . Would be great if you supplied mods for ENU drivers, though, I know many people can't stand messing up their ENU Windows with localized crap :P . Only place I allow my local language is on my cellphone.

My computer "crashes" during the install though, I suppose that might be because I haven't uninstalled the old drivers yet. Running C: in "Read-only", I'll remount it as RW and retry.

Cheers (but take the suggestion for ENU mods into concideration, please) :) .

Seems I was celebrating too early. Your modded INF causes my system to reboot whenever Windows starts. A blank screen, then reboot. Tried uncommenting that specific settings in your INF, to no avail. Modded my own 156.71 drivers, working swell.
