Viper114
Wow, that was some quick modding of the INF. Thanks for getting it out so soon. Perhaps these drivers will truly help with improving Crysis' performance, something I've been looking for through the entire beta. Although I'll probably judge the actual performance on the SP demo, though, since I'm not all too interested in MP performance.

tandaradei
Installed them specially for the Crysis SP Demo - counterproductive, the game slowed down. Went back to 163.75 and everythings back to normal. BTW the demo itself made a fool out of my OCed 7900gs. Sad...

bugmenot
When you open the if up with notepad it reads this on the last line DiskID1 = "NVIDIA Windows XP x64 Edition Driver Library Installation Disk 1" but we are on xp 32 bit thast why there has been missing file problems during installation
Guest Lennart
I have got an "old" Sony Vaio Notebook with a GeForce Go 7600 (128MB). When I installed this driver the fps-rate was improved well. I can play Crysis in minimal konfiguration, an it looks well. The driver improves in special the short videos in the game. There is just a small bug an my pc, I can not open the nvidia controll panel. Lennart

bugmenot
Ok, im getting furious now, ive been PM'ing the mods about the inf being the x64 inf, but no bloody replies. They have fixed the driver link leading to a KB file, but the inf is still x64 version.... How long will this take...

Guest Ojive
Ok, im getting furious now, ive been PM'ing the mods about the inf being the x64 inf, but no bloody replies. They have fixed the driver link leading to a KB file, but the inf is still x64 version.... How long will this take... Is there any easy way of changing that? Something like replace "x64" with "x86"? :)
Guest blackbird
already tried, ended up no drivers and a half way corrupt installation. so replacing it to x86 is not the thing to do

How long will this take... Oh yeah impatiant one, the driver is x86 just for some odd reason the INF ending if wrong. It's no big deal, like having BMW 316 with a 840i badge it's still a 316 :) Remember I am human (this may come as a blow) and I do have a life. "Sorry kids we can't go out today, Daddy made a mistake in an INF and I've got to fix it, and hang around just in case the masses might need me." A full refund is coming your way for your inconvenience :)
Guest blackbird
Haha, thanks mate and I fully understand where your coming from. On a side note bugmenot....thats a site that provides logins and passwords to sites that require registering to avoid people the hassle to register for just being able to download the file. So I assume thers tons of people who use that bugmenot account just to post here on the forums, so its not one person.
mobilenvidia
Thats right, I remember something (more than 5 min ago) re this. Not sure why go to all this trouble and make all this fuss and not even bother to register, posting as a guest would have been better as we're one of the few sites still allowing it :) OK, I feel not guilty any more. I've gone back and fixed the drivers invloved looks like quite a few desktop INFs had this anomaly
