Hi.

I have been wondering about the reason of a issue I have had ever since I got my laptop. I am always looking for new drivers for my nvidia 8600m GT 512 mb ram, since im not feeling that its running optimal. But heres the deal: everytime I find a driver(like this one) where it says that it supports my graphic card, I cant seem to install it. I haven't found a working driver yet(without using the modded inf file) apart from msi's own homepage.

Does anyone know why the drivers on this homepage doesn't support my graphic card when it says in the describtion that my card is supported?

It's because they are subsys'd for SONY. As you own a MSI...

I had Vista's aero running before but during a Windows Update, my driver got update and now I can't get aero to work anymore because my computer won't get a WEI rating of 1.0. I got rid of the driver that came in through Windows updated and I installed this driver and am still unable to get a Windows Experience Index other than 1.0. I ran winsat and here's the error I received:

Support for DirectX 9.0 Pixel Shader 3.0

Do I have the wrong driver???

hey, i have a VAIO VGN-FZ11M , i tried to install the driver ( on vista x64) but it keeps telling me that it doesn't recognize the video card. any clue , something ?

It looks like this version doesn't have DirectX support (using dxdiag to test) for my laptop's (Sony VGN-SZ370P/C) video card (nVidia GeForce Go 7400). I loaded a modded version of 174.93 and DirectX worked again but now it won't wake from sleep. I'm trying to download 101.29 but the download keeps stopping at the beginning. :-(
