No matter the settings I choose, the card won't wake up while on battery with my T61 - it's stuck in low-power 2D, which needless to say badly hurts 3D performance. Performance on A/C power, however, improves slightly with each new driver set. That much is nice. You can tell your computer to utilize system resources as if it is running at full power, because windows by default scales down power consumption to all components when there is no external power source plugged in. Im not positive it will make the graphics card perform at full, but it will kick the processor up past the 800mhz it runs at on battery, which ought to help alot.
