With my previous driver set (169.28) it felt like the game would shutter when sprinted. Before I experimented with most major drivers available and somewhere along the way probably messed everything up. I had stupid hitching and slowdowns in Unreal Tournament 3 and even in other games, but this driver works great. For the first time since December I played UT3 comfortably. Note that Nvidia does not recommend ANY of 17x.xx series drivers on their website for ANY GeForce 8series videocards. So this driver might be the best of them all when it comes to GF8. I have noticed that these drivers might make Vista a bit unstable, I've had some minor issues with memory dumps since I installed them. From my opinion this is the most stable driver for my graphic card witch I used. I can switch between lap and TV. BSOD over and over when I start.... once three times in a row. I going to try out the 174.60 drivers and see if there is any improvement... Dunno if it is the drivers or what giving me problems.
