blah238
decent for a somewhat portable notebook, although the CPU is a tad on the low end, I would go up to 2.0 if you can. Lower the HDD if necessary, a notebook doesn't really need that much space. Edited March 19, 2008 by blah238
Deatheater Dewd
Thanks for your answer. I really wish I could lower the freaking HDD but it wont let me! I wish there was a AMD powered one!
anonymous1986
For the price that is one of the best laptops, could try and get a 2.2Ghz processor or try for a 7200rpm HDD, however you wont be able to play games like crysis at medium settings. Most games would run fine at decent resolutions and medium settings. Edited March 19, 2008 by anonymous1986
Deatheater Dewd
yea theres an option for a 160gb 7200rpm HDD. I guess ill get that. Srry but i cant get the 2.2. way to much money
anonymous1986
Yea with that configuration i can play pes 2008 at 1280 resolution and high detail at 60fps and ut3 at 3 detail level (medium) and 1024 resolution at 40-50fps. I've looked around a bit and for that price the vostro is a great buy.

tabish
you're wrong. you REALLY wouldn't want an AMD mobile processor in your laptop. believe me, amd is good for NOTHING except their desktop processors which clearly overpower intel's and their graphics cards (ati). also your graphics card is decent. good for running bioshock and some other games, but if you're thinking about crysis it's a big no-no.
