Gotta little problem with those drivers (I have GF8800GTS 640 - G80) Everything installed properly, but after reboot screen resolution is PERMANENTLY set to 800 x 600 with 4-bit color! delolith Posted June 23, 2008 Report Share Posted June 23, 2008 (edited) Very good drivers...stable and all...maybe 2 degrees higher temperature (I don't understand cause we have like 37 defrees in Greece :) and my laptop is about to fry even with a Zalman cooler). But here's the deal, I JUST ordered an XPS M1530 with a 256MB nVidia 8600M GT video card. I'm almost sure that it doesn't come with the "newest" driver. Anyway, is this driver the best one for my laptop/video card?? Also, where do I start to download it, update it, etc. (I'm very new to this site, and also not too computer savvy). Thanks! I tried several drivers, latest PhysX + 177,39, used Driver cleaner betven and so on Got a Clevo D900C laptop with 8800M GTX. Read that many laptop users dont get it to work at all.
