PsychoTommy
Couldn't get it to work at all. Asks for noWHQL confirmation, stalls, and then says the system hasn't been changed. It doesn't ask for a reboot, either. I ran install after using DriverSweeper in safe mode. Did anyone manage to get it to install the VGA at all? Or any ideas why it might not work? Thanks! Kaaji1359
OK so what exactly is OpenGL 3.0 and what are the benefits of running it? I DLed the nvemulate program on the main page and hit the "Enable OpenGL 3.0" button but didn't seem to notice anything different. Will it improve performance? OldMan
driver is definately faster than previous 177's however i'm running a 7 series card so not sure how opengl 3 works
Mushu
@Kaaji1359: The programmer of the game has to design it with OpenGL 3.0 code instead of the common OpenGL 2.0 code before the OpenGL 3.0 emulation works. At least I think that's how it works.

P.J
This driver sucks like 177.83/177.79 xD I've scrolling problem with them xD OpenGL 3.0 is fake. Everest 4.50 Ultimate says it's 2.1 Just keep 177.73 !!!
Guest Guest
good driver for me. Don't understand why some users have such problems with the downloads here. After uninstall i use drive cleaner and i never had problems with any driver here. This one works great with older games like PES6, temperature is the same as previous drivers and it's stable. No crashes or other problems after 5 hours with some games. Thanks a lot for the work!

Kaaji1359
So is it best to disable or enable OpenGL?? I'm guessing it's best to enable it "just in case" a programmer designs a game with it??
P.J
Does any1 have scrolling problem in IE ? :)
Guest Blaze
Ugh, no one should be using IE anyway. Firefox is the only one to consider. :) These drivers work great for my 8600M GT 256MB! :) Thanks for all your hard work and great effort! (I have an account by the way). nosushi4you
Definitely. Firefox is the way to go. I might test this with 3DMark06 later. I've been disappointed with nVidia's past few drivers, though. That's why I'm still using 177.73. Has anyone noticed any performance increase in any games?
