I have seen many different .inf versions already, looked at the file, saw the differences.. but not always could figure out the actual meaning of the commands. These are for example the mobility tweaks from NVIDIA Mobility Modder and I would be very thankful if anyone could describe the functioins. If its not too much demanded, maybe we could start and make some kind of command database with descriptions. This will definately help other users who would like to customize a driver for their needs. Briefly: BandwidthFactor - How many bus cycles to assign to the GPU (transfer rate) DFPAsDefaultMonitor - DefaultFlatPanel... DualViewHotKeyPolicy - HotKey usage when in DualView Mode DualViewMobile - DualView usage on laptops DualViewPolicyID DualViewAllow2ndViewAsPrimary - refers to the remote monitor DualViewAllowNonDFPAsPrimary - refers to anything other than the DefaultFlatPanel EnableAGPSBA - Enable AGP Sideband Addressing (Not all laptios can do this, so we disable it.) SoftEDIDs - Use sofware monitor Extended Display Information instead of the chip embedded in the display. UseHWSelectedDevice - HW == HardWare == default BIOS display. PowerMizerEnable - self explanitory PowerMizerDefault - default power setting PowerMizerLevel - setting to use when running on batteries PowerMizerLevelAC - setting to use when running on AC EnableCoreSlowdown - Allow the core clock to change speeds based on power and heat requirements. EnableMClkSlowdown - Same as above, but referring to he MemoryClock EnableNVClkSlowdown - Same as as above but referring to the Main clock. GlitchFreeMClk - Fixes MemoryClock problem LVDSReduceFreq AllowMaxPerf - Not sure on this one, but it's NOT what it sounds like. PerfLevelSrc EnableBrightnessControl - Newer GPUs can adjust to ambient light, but many people have trouble with this. MB_Enable ForceSwapInterval RMDisablePteCoalesce - There are many RM settings, where RM stands for RemoteMonitor. They usually apply when connected to a TV. I don't know what this particular one does. DCPerfLimitSLI RMEnablePowerSupplyCapacity RMPowerSupplyCapacity NvCplDualViewAllowNonDFPAsPrimary - Allows you to select the remote monitor as the default in the nvidia control panel. There is one more thing I can add: PerfLevelSrc - is the Powermizer state setting which has 3 different modes as far as I know: "2222" -> disables PM on A/C and battery "3322" -> disables PM on A/C only "3333" -> enables PM on A/C and battery Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks! :) Also, I corrected the DualViewMobile entry above to show that it affects DualView behavior on laptops, not HotKey behavior on laptops. That's what I get for typing too fast!
