Good drivers. Performance in 3dmark06 is within margin of error from 178.13 and better than 177.83 and games seem fast as well. Running on a GeForce 8600M GT DDR2 - wanted to see how a Quadro driver would do and am quite pleased with the results.

I installed these drivers looking for a performance improvement in Fallout 3 with my ThinkPad T61p.

I must say, I'm quite impressed...Smooth gameplay with improved visuals and my GPU temp runs cooler too.

I'm new to using the ForceWare drivers. I got my Lenovo ThinkPad T61p a few months ago any quickly found out that most of Adobe's products don't work the best with Nvidia. I tried 178.26, mainly because it was most recent, and it seems to have fixed Lightroom 1.4 and Audition 3.0 and even Photoshop CS3! It's honestly like my laptop is running on crack. I have a 280MB 54MP image I stitched together and I can now navigate it with literally ZERO lag. Audition doesn't run as smooth as the old cool edit, but it's still 100 times improved. Lightroom had been running very sluggish and drawing elements very slow. I'm thrilled at the moment and will be sending my assistance for the cause. Thanks guys!

:) awesome, just tried for fun, but its the best driver for fallout 3. better than 179 and 180 series. no dowclocking and stuttering. :)
