helmy Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 i am new in here, been suffering with my Acer 6920G-834 , the downclock thing in the GPU is a nightmare as i am a network designer in France Telecom so most of my day i load GNS and programs that require lot of resources especially GPU beside gaming also sometimes. anyway i have found with disabling button for powermizer (got app from here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showpost.p...amp;postcount=1 ) everything seems to be workign smoother, problem is now that my Vista rating is not what i hoped for Processor : 5.3 RAM : 5.1 Graphics : 4.5 !!! Gaming : 5.3 hard : 5.3 both the ram and graphics for vista is not what i expected especially the graphics is a surprise i mean my old laptop Dell with 7 series cards got 4.6, on my desktop everything is 5.9, yet my desktop is strong xfx 8800GTS xxx , CPU E6750. Gigabyte 965P DQ6 rev3.3 so i will just ask if the above vista benchmarks are good or not for Acer 6920 G-834 and if not what can i do to increase those two also on my desktop rams are only 2.5 GHZ, still get 5.9 why on the laptop 4 ghz only get 5.1 ( let's say 3 ghz since vista 86) also i am using this driver 178.46, is it better or the 178.26 drivers or 179.13 , can anyone advise based on vista x86 home premium thxs alot in advance and sorry if lot of queries.
