because these were probably made for an oem like asus/dell etc which were originaly hosted on thier site, and station drivers just uploaded it it to their servers.

Its kinda like what we do here, we host 100s of drivers that are not found on nvidia's site that we obtain from another manufacturer website for example.

Although they may be originally be made for a specific machine/device you will find it will install on any other devices too.

Then, what is it useful for ?

I mean, if these drivers werenr developped for our laptops, it is not going to work fine, is it ?

And, in a general mind, what would these drivers add ?

Because I used to have a lot of BSOD because of my wireless card !! -_-'

However, thank you very much for you work. It is very appreciated ! ;-)

Wireless cards are used in Notebooks, you will not find many desktops with these cards

If you doubt or are paranoid about these divers, just stick with what you have.

These work great for my i4965 in Win 7

Thanks a lot !

Just do it, but if you are happy with what you have and have doubts just stay with what you have.

There are the various setup files included in the download, depending on how much you want to install.

These drivers (and the 12.3.2.1 drivers add intel my wifi technology, allowing you to simultaneously connect to a LAN and act as an AP for other machines to share your internet connection on one wlan card, or to create a lan wirelessly without the use of a router.

This driver is great. My connection used to drop every once in a while due to wireless but now it hasn't dropped at all, despite heavy downloads. Thanks!
