Hi everybody, my laptop has the Quadro FX 3600M but when I'm trying to install this driver it says that my hardware isn't compatible with the driver and I can't continue with the setup.

Am I doing something wrong ? I just double clicked the "setup" icon.

epivitor, you need a modded .inf file in order to install this driver because your GPU is not supported.

1) Download this file which is the modded inf for the 185.85 Vista/7 x64 GeForce Driver: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/infs/185seri...ista64/nvac.inf

2) Cut and paste now this file at the same folder in which the setup excists(setup.exe). You should be promped to overwrite a file called nvac.inf with the newer one that you just downloaded. If that happens and you overwrite the file you are ready.

3) Now run again setup.exe and tell as if you managed to install the newer driver. Also be sure you have Windows Vista/7 x64 because this driver and modded .inf file are only for such systems!

WAIT epivitor, I just noticed that you have Windows XP Professional SP3(I saw it at your details) so this driver is not for you anyway. THIS DRIVER IS FOR WINDOWS VISTA AND WINDOWS 7 x64. You need to download the same driver and modded .inf file for Windows XP x32 or x64 according to your system. Because I saw that a lot of users have problems with finding the drivers I did this and I hope it helps everyone because I can't ask every user what system they have, if it's x32 or x64 etc...Here is all my help - all you have to do before this is to find out what system you have and if it's x32 or x64:

You all need to download the driver according to your system and then the modded .inf file from the same thread. Because I don't know what system do you have I'm going to give you all the links for the drivers and modded .inf files. Here:

If you have a Hybrid-SLI GPU you need a special driver for your system. Dox's ForceWare 185.85 Driver!!!

Go here: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....showtopic=24003 .There you can find the latest hybrid sli driver that you need. Download the driver from that thread and install it!!!

Note: Windows XP are not supported at all at this release...

Now, you want to know how to install the .inf file for the NON Hybrid-SLI GPUs? Read this thread that will help and guide you:

Note: The Drivers and Modded .inf files for Windows Vista x32/x64 and Windows 7 x32/x64 are the same. So:

1) Windows Vista x32 Driver+Modded .inf = Windows 7 x32 Driver+Modded .inf

2) Windows Vista x64 Driver+Modded .inf = Windows 7 x64 Driver+Modded .inf

DOX you don't know how much all the site loves you including me for all the great work you have done and you keep doing! Respect...

Maybe a Firewall is doing that or sth like that? We need more information to understand your problem and help you to solve it!

Why? You can download them from here, from this site for free and a lot faster than rapidshare. Find what you need here and download it:

I have Windows 7 x64 and Geforce 9600m GT. Everything I tried doesn't work. Please help me, tell me how to make it work. All drivers i instaled made my windows restart at starting windows screen.

Thanks so much for helping us laptop users get good video drivers. The site laptopvideo2go.com really should be getting huge $$$ from nVidia and laptop vendor/OEMs. This v185.85 is the perfect driver for me.

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on a Dell XPS M1710 with a GeForce Go 7900 GTX. Dell's old Vista x64 driver just wasnt' good enough.

One quick question...

Why does HWMonitor.exe show GPU temps for a Quadro NVS 510M, while my device manager shows NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX? I'm guessing the modified INF magic you guys to doesn't affect how the sensor reports. Is there some place to hack this too?

You could use i8kfangui to monitor the temps? It does cpu, RAM, GPU, HDD temps. Very useful tool. Only problem being is that is isn't a signed driver, do you need to manually signg it, or use readydriverplus to disable the driver enforcement at startup.

The 7900GTX was rebranded as a Quadro once upon a time, and due to this the card seems to be recognised by everything due to this. In nVidia control panel it will probably say Quadro NVS 510M in System Information. To combat this I used rivatuner to change my 7900GTX to report as a 7950GTX by changing the straps. I know this has no effect on performance, just it stops the Quadro annoyance.
