LSudlow
You can use either Pieter's or mine, but mine is customized specifically for the 5150 and enables some additional features.

LSudlow
1. Go into the Video Overlay Settings page of the nVidia Control Panel and check the "Enable VMR" box. 2. If you are trying to use an external monitor, make sure you are in either Clone mode or DualView mode. 3. You may need to play with the VMR/Overlay settings in the player. (In PowerDVD it's the "Enable hardware acceleration" box under the Video settings.)
Jeroen
I think with this driver, the video playback only works when VMR is enabled because if it was disabled with me I also had nothing ... So I should advice to enable it :) it's better too :) :P greetz
LSudlow
Yes, I've seen a few other posts saying VMR has to be enabled in this version. You're right, it is better as long as you have enough horsepower. Most FX and later cards work fine with VMR.

Guest halli
I don't get it. On the frontpage is says that this is a laptop driver from Dell but the thread says "Desktop" in front of every driver name/version number.
Guest Guest
Als, when installing the 77.58 driver I get that the current nv4_mini.sys is newer than the one currently being installed? This also happens with other files. So is this older than my current driver? Old driver info: Video: nVidia GeForce Go 6800, Driver, Windows XP, Multi Language, Inspiron 9300, v.6.14.10.7811, A03 Release Date: 09/14/2005
Bill
I think I will try out the Dell one and report back to you guys, looks promising especially since it supports my card. To Halli, check out the INF here. http://laptopvideo2go.com/infs/75series/77...7758_inf(s).zip At the bottem it lists like a ton of laptop cards, it probably has every nvidia card ever in a Dell laptop in that INF. If that driver or INF has good TV out I will just have to reserect my custom mod INF, and then let John mod it out with Quadro tweaks for M50s. :) Edit: Rene, check the first post in this thread, some forum tags are showing. :) Edited October 22, 2005 by Bill
mobilenvidia
While Rene is away, i'm trying to modify the above post. But it is a bit of nightmare for me. I'll have to sort out a better way, it's very hard to modify all that text in a little edit box. Plus it's super busy with all these drivers. So the above has been edited to be a little more correct now :) Also the driver is older in date than some others that is why that error occured, just ignore it.
